To the family and colleagues of Mr Wang Wencai .

It is with great sadness that I learn of the passing of Mr Wang and send to you my condolences and my very best wishes at this sad time for you all.

I had hoped to have met him during my visits to Beijing, but with the Covid 19 outbreak I have not been able to visit Beijing since 2019.

It would have been marvellous to have spoken about our passion for the Genus clematis,and have shared knowledge and information.
