杨元合,男,博士,研究员,博士生导师。

20037月获北京大学环境科学学士学位,20087月获北京大学自然地理学博士学位,2008-2012年间先后赴美国俄克拉荷马大学和英国阿伯丁大学进行合作研究,20127月到中国科学院植物研究所工作,成立了高寒生态格局与过程研究组,2013年获得基金委优秀青年科学基金资助,2018年获得国家杰出青年基金资助,2021-2023年入选“Elsevier中国高被引学者”。曾获“何梁何利基金科学与技术创新奖”“科学探索奖”“中国青年科技奖”等荣誉。担任植被与环境变化国家重点实验室副主任、北京生态学会理事长、中国植物学会/中国生态学学会/中国青藏高原研究会理事等学术职务;担任Journal of Integrative Plant Biology/ Journal of Plant Ecology/《植物生态学报》副主编、Journal of Plant Research/《植物学报》/《草地学报》/《热带亚热带植物学报》编委。

主要研究方向:

以青藏高原高寒生态系统为研究对象,基于野外观测、控制实验、室内培养和模型模拟等手段,重点开展:(1)土壤与全球变化;(2)生态系统碳--磷循环及其交互作用研究。本研究组每年招收博士和硕士研究生,热忱欢迎对上述研究方向感兴趣的同学申请或报考。
