    报告人简历:
    1982.1-1984.2在华中农业大学微生物专业毕业后留校任助教;
    1984.2-1988.5在英国University of East Anglia及John Innes 研究中心获博士学位,并做博后研究;
    1988.6-2000.7华中农业大学任讲师、副教授、教授、博导。
    2000-现在 上海交通大学教授、博导,Bio-X生命科学研究中心副主任。

    现任《科学通报》、《Process Biochemistry》等数个国内外刊物特邀编辑或编委会成员。2006年起任国际工业微生物遗传学组织专家委员会(GIM-IC)委员。1991、1994、1997年三次获得美国洛氏基金会“生物技术生涯奖”;1997年获“瑞典国王Baudiouin奖”。2000年获美国康乃尔大学首届“Tang-Cornell 中国学者奖”。2004年被评为教育部“长江学者”特聘教授;2005年当选为中国科学院院士;2006年当选为第三世界科学院院士。
    主要研究领域包括:DNA硫化修饰系统,微生物基因(簇)分离与克隆,微生物代谢工程与化学生物学,分子微生物学技术和方法学创新等。DNA硫修饰的研究获得了近年在DNA结构修饰及其功能研究领域的划时代性的新发现。
