    报告人简历：
    1982.1-1984.2在华中农业大学微生物专业毕业后留校任助教；
    1984.2-1988.5在英国University of East Anglia及John Innes 研究中心获博士学位，并做博后研究；
    1988.6-2000.7华中农业大学任讲师、副教授、教授、博导。
    2000-现在 上海交通大学教授、博导，Bio-X生命科学研究中心副主任。

    现任《科学通报》、《Process Biochemistry》等数个国内外刊物特邀编辑或编委会成员。2006年起任国际工业微生物遗传学组织专家委员会(GIM-IC)委员。1991、1994、1997年三次获得美国洛氏基金会“生物技术生涯奖”；1997年获“瑞典国王Baudiouin奖”。2000年获美国康乃尔大学首届“Tang-Cornell 中国学者奖”。2004年被评为教育部“长江学者”特聘教授；2005年当选为中国科学院院士；2006年当选为第三世界科学院院士。
    主要研究领域包括：DNA硫化修饰系统，微生物基因(簇)分离与克隆，微生物代谢工程与化学生物学，分子微生物学技术和方法学创新等。DNA硫修饰的研究获得了近年在DNA结构修饰及其功能研究领域的划时代性的新发现。
