报告人简介：
Professor W S (Fred) Chow obtained his BSc (Hons) in 1972 (Univ. Of Tasmania) and his PhD in 1977 (Flinders Univ.). From 1977 to 1991, he held term appointments at Imperial College London, the Glasshouse Crops Research Institute (UK) and CSIRO Plant Industry (Canberra). From 1991 to 1996, he was employed by CSIRO Plant Industry indefinitely at a level up to Senior Principal Research Scientist. From 1996 to the present, he has been doing research at The Australian National University, Canberra, where he has been a professor since 2007. He has been an ISI Highly Cited Researcher in Plant & Animal Science.
