Prof. Glyn Rimmington studied at the University of Queensland and graduated with a PhD at age 24. He then took up a Senior Research Fellowship in the University of Melbourne. He developed the world's first wheat crop simulator with interactive graphics, the Wheat Game, he organized the establishment of a simulation modeling laboratory at AUH, Baoding and ran a national workshop on crop and plant simulation modelling. In 2001, he was appointed as the inaugural Boeing Endowed Distinguished Professor of Global Learning at Wichita State University. This forms a second research interests in the area of intercultural learning. He has continued to work and publish in both areas with several books, book chapters and journal papers.
