秦国政,男,博士,研究员,博士生导师。

2000年毕业于四川大学生物系,2004年在中国科学院植物研究所获博士学位,毕业后留所工作至今,先后任助理研究员、副研究员和研究员。2006年至2007年在美国Arizona State University做博士后研究。主要从事果实品质保持的生物学基础及调控方面的研究,在果实成熟和品质调控的重要基因筛选、基因功能研究以及果实品质保持技术的研发等方面取得了系列进展。迄今发表论文90余篇,其中部分论文发表在The Plant CellGenome BiologyPlant Biotechnology JournalPlant JournalPlant Physiology等国际主流杂志上。主持了国家自然科学基金青年基金、面上项目、国家杰出青年科学基金、国家重点基础研究发展计划(973计划)课题等科研项目。2013年获国家技术发明奖二等奖(排名第三)及中国科学院卢嘉锡青年人才奖,2016年获北京市科学技术奖二等奖(排名第二),2019年获“国家杰出青年科学基金”资助。现任Molecular Horticulture副主编、Journal of Integrative Plant Biology编委、The Innovation青年编委、《植物学报》编委。

主要研究方向和内容:

以番茄和草莓为主要研究材料,解析果实成熟和衰老过程中色泽、风味等品质形成的分子机制及其调控基础,为培育高品质、耐贮藏的果实品种提供依据。同时,也为果实采后品质保持和贮藏保鲜技术的研发奠定基础。研究内容包括:鉴定在果实品质形成和保持过程中发挥重要作用的基因/蛋白质,分析它们对植物激素、环境条件的响应机制;综合利用分子生物学、细胞生物学和遗传学等技术,从转录和转录后调控、翻译调控、翻译后修饰等角度解析重要基因/蛋白质对果实品质的调控机制。
