王开拓,男,博士,研究员,博士生导师。

2004年在山东大学获得学士学位,2010年在北京大学获得博士学位。2010年到2018年先后在丹麦奥胡斯大学和丹麦哥本哈根大学进行博士后工作,其中20169月到20185月在美国加州大学洛杉矶分校(UCLA)进行访问学习。20187月起在丹麦哥本哈根大学担任助理教授,20241月到中国科学院植物研究所植物多样性与特色经济作物重点实验室工作。在NatureNature CommunicationsPLOS BiologyNucleic Acids Research等刊物发表论文30余篇。

主要研究工作:

科学研究方面主要聚焦膜蛋白的结构与功能研究,使用生物物理,生物化学等手段研究跨膜转运蛋白的机制,从而理解物质跨膜运输和平衡的调控机理。

技术方面致力于发展冷冻电镜研究相关的技术手段,以扩大冷冻电镜技术在不同生物体系特别是植物体系内的应用范围并开辟新的研究思路。

现阶段主要关注的方向有:

1.植物特有代谢产物相关转运蛋白的结构和功能。

2.叶绿体跨膜转运蛋白的结构和功能。

3.发展以植物材料为来源进行结构生物学研究的通用技术平台
