1996年在河北农业大学获得学士学位,1999年在中国农业大学获得硕士学位,2010年在中国科学院植物研究所获得博士学位。1999年至今一直在植物研究所工作。为致公党中央生态环境与可持续发展委员会委员和中国食品科技学会葡萄酒分会委员。审定葡萄新品种19个(国审6个),获得9个葡萄品种的新品种权。育成的“京”字系列鲜食葡萄品种栽培面积超过120万亩;“北”字系列优质抗寒旱酿酒葡萄品种克服了传统栽培品种埋土防寒生产成本高与产品安全性低对我国葡萄酒产业发展的制约,已在全国23个省市自治区推广应用超过1.5万亩。推动了我国具有自主知识产权新优品种选育与推广。申请受理(授权)专利8个,发表相关论文30余篇。主持国家自然科学基金区域联合项目、面上项目、国家重点研发计划项目课题、子课题、科技部农转资金重点项目及中国科学院、地方项目20余项。获得中国科学院科技促进发展奖、中国园艺学会华耐科技奖特等奖等奖项。

(1)葡萄种质资源的收集评价与种质创新研究;
(2)葡萄抗逆与香气品质等性状形成特点及调控研究;
(3)葡萄新品种选育与应用研究;
(4)葡萄配套栽培技术研发。
