高天刚,男,博士,研究员。

1996年毕业于曲阜师范大学,2001年在中国科学院植物研究所获博士学位。2001年至2004年在中国科学院昆明植物研究所进行博士后研究,2016年在University of Arizona生态与进化系任高级访问学者。自2004年起在中国科学院植物研究所工作,历任助理研究员、副研究员、研究员,兼任中国科学院大学岗位教授。主要从事植物分类学研究,迄今以第一或通讯作者Nat CommuAnn BotTaxonPlant CommunJ Syst Evol 等学术期刊上发表论文30余篇;出版(含合著)志书Flora of ChinaFlora of Pan-Himalaya菊科部分两卷(册)。主持国家自然科学基金面上项目6项,参与科技部基础资源调查专项项目4项。在世界10余个国家开展野外考察,累计采集植物标本15,000多号。

研究方向和研究内容:

植物分类学。目前聚焦于以下内容:一、世界菊科植物生命之树;二、菊科春黄菊族、紫菀族和帚菊族的分类与演化;三、世界蒿属植物专著;四、Flora of Pan-HimalayaFlora of Kenya菊科编研。
