周姚,男,博士,研究员。

2012年获华中农业大学学士学位;2014年获华中农业大学硕士学位;2017年获东北农业大学博士学位;2018-2019年,中国科学院遗传与发育研究所博士后;2020-2022年,中国农业科学院深圳农业基因组研究所任副研究员;202212-至今,中国科学院植物研究所工作。

研究成果以第一作者(含共同)身份发表在NatureNature GeneticsBriefings in Bioinformatics等期刊。

主要研究方向

1.燕麦的演化与驯化。利用群体遗传学分析揭示六倍体燕麦驯化及遗传改良过程中重要性状的形成及其演化规律;

2.燕麦复杂性状遗传调控解析。开发多倍体全基因组关联分析模型,挖掘调控燕麦重要性状的基因,利用分子生物学、遗传学等手段解析基因的功能及调控机制;

3.燕麦设计育种。利用基因组选择、多位点基因编辑等技术,建立燕麦智能设计育种新体系,创制燕麦新品种。
